Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and cultural dinner
Arrive Kathmandu Arrive in Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. After completing your immigration formalities, you will meet our representative in arrival gate and will be greeted. Then transfer to Hotel. Check in procedure followed by welcome drinks. Relax and have tea/coffee in the hotel. Evening we proceed for Nepalese Dinner in Typical Nepalese restaurant and enjoy the cultural program. Back to the hotel and overnight.
Day 2: Kathmandu to Lumbini
Today we proceed towards the birth place of Lord Buddha, the Lumbini. After breakfast, 7-8 hours leisure drive along the Mahendra Highway (East West highway of Nepal) through plain land will bring us to Lumbini. The climate is generally warm and humid. After a long drive we arrived at Lumbini. Check-in at the hotel and have a rest. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Lumbini sightseeing
Today, we explore the birth place of Lord Buddha, ancient heritages and Buddhist Monasteries for the whole day. It has a long history related to Buddhism and many records are still preserved safely in the museum. We visit Maya Devi Temple & its premises, sacred Garden, Peace Stupa and many more temples and monasteries Kapilvastu is a place in Lumbini, where Buddha was born around 6th century B.C. There are still archaeological excavations going on in search of further facts and evidence. . Back to the hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 4: Lumbini to Kathmandu
Today we drive back to Kathmandu, memorizing good memories of past days. After breakfast we drove back to Kathmandu via the same route along the Narayani River and Trishuli River, enjoying the beautiful scenery. We take lunch on the way. After a 9 hours drive we reached Kathmandu. Have dinner and overnight in a hotel.
Day 5: Departure
Today you are free till the departure time. You can stroll around the touristic hub, Thamel area and do last minute shopping and purchase souvenirs for friends and family. Or just relax in the hotel memorizing our tour. We transfer you to the Airport 3 hours prior to your scheduled flight for your onward journey.
